Shelley Pittman brings many years of experience educating Federal & State Employee’s on their many government benefits and how to navigate to a great retirement! Shelley graduated from James Madison University with a BS in Communications and soon entered the Pharmaceutical Sales world. After many years in that position, she realized she wanted a career change that would allow her to get more up close and personal with people – which brought her to where she is now -meeting with people one on one and educating them at any stage of their Federal or State Career- beginning, middle and retirement. She makes sure they know where they are currently and what to do as they move toward retirement. Most importantly she makes the consultation easy to understand and treats each individual with the utmost respect which people really appreciate.
She also loves to invite spouses of the Federal or State Employee to join in on the meetings if they choose ! The spouses often have a lot of questions themselves that often leads to discovery of things they may have not thought about that would greatly benefit their overall team retirement picture if that applies to them.
Shelley and her husband Todd Pittman, who also is a consultant for Federal & State Employees, sometimes work together on consultations if the situation arises.
In her spare time Shelley is passionate about taking care of her 2 rescue horses Clint the Mustang and Ginny the Arabian, her 2 dogs Zeno Capone a mixed breed rescue and Rip the Giant Schnauzer …and rescuing animals behind the scenes. She lives in the beautiful mountains of Southwest Virginia and to use her passion for photography to capture the abundance of beauty in nature.
